The UL Lafayette Educational Doctorate is an innovative Graduate Program designed to develop practitioners to be effective and forward thinking educational leaders. Its unique program design considers the time constraints and responsibilities placed on current and aspiring educational leaders while simultaneously developing and enhancing the knowledge base, experiences and skills educational leaders require for success.

 

Focused on current and future educational leaders, the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Degree program prepares its graduates to meet the challenges of today's complex educational landscape by fostering the development of practical kowledge and problem solving skills grounded in a framework of relevant educational theory.

The EDFL program now offers an exciting new Higher 

Education Concentration,  which is designed to help ambitious and aspiring professionals meet their career goals in higher education administration.  Courses are taught in an executive format with four scheduled meetings during weekends each semester, with additional intersession courses being taught on weekends between semesters. The entire program coursework is designed to be completed within two calendar years.

 

This program is tailored for current and future university leaders with busy schedules, to successfully prepare themselves for the diverse challenges of today's world in higher education.
